Story / Motivation

The Wood Trestle is easy in form in function, yet a very efficient support system. The furniture composed of the Wood Trestle foundation and horizontal support is appealing as it allows the user to adapt or store away the assembled piece of furniture in no time. The Wood Trestle is characterized by using the R5 Connector in the pivot point to fold an unfold the trestles’ legs. By incorporating the R5 Connector in its design, the Wood Trestle is visually compelling as it integrates in the overall design of the furniture line assembled with the connector. The Wood Trestle is an aesthetic multifunctional foundation for a variety of horizontal applications, such as tables, desks, workbenches, and other furniture pieces.
